First, they were our friends and then our benefactors and now they are our greatest memories.

The Sandy Peltyn Foundation of Excellence extends our deepest condolences to the families and friends of Siegfried Fischbacher, Jack Weinstein, and Sheldon Adelson whose lives gave us memories too beautiful to forget. These Las Vegas icons and generous supporters of our mission of “Education Matters” all had one thing in common, our beloved late founder Sandy Peltyn.

Siegfried and his longtime partner, the late Roy Horn, the iconic entertainers and masters of illusion, were not only great friends of Sandy’s but they were her muses. Siegfried with his tanned good looks and quiet charm and Sandy with her fabulous gowns would grace the dance floor of many a grand party and when it came to support for Sandy’s passionate annual gala, Señoras of Excellence/Señores of Distinction, Siegfried (and Roy) were there not only in person but with generous donations and support.

Jack Weinstein, owner of Tower Jewels and honored Vegas Humanitarian was also not only Sandy’s good friend but the man behind her fabulous jewels, especially the ones that were generously given to her for the silent auction of the Señoras/Señores galas. The ladies attending the annual galas each received a designer silk scarf generously donated by Jack Weinstein. Jack was gracious and giving whenever Sandy called.

Sheldon Adelson, Las Vegas Sands Corporation CEO, Venetian casino owner and philanthropist, graciously supported Sandy’s educational mission through Sands Cares, the Sands corporation charitable giving program. Sheldon Adelson, founder of the Adelson Educational Academy and sharing Sandy’s dedication to the provision of excellence in education, generously participated in our annual fundraisers.

We will miss each of you, but you are forever in our hearts and memories. Now together with Sandy, we are sure there is a grand celebration taking place somewhere over the rainbow.
